inspired by a party for the noble outlaw or is it outlawed noble? j brilliantly suggested we needed a post in honor. appearing first in twelfth century literature ( judy cox ‘earl, outlaw or rebel?’) this mystery intrigues me. vaguely what's known: against injustice and tyranny robin hood and the merry men/women robbed the rich, to feed the poor. killing only in self-defense and protecting the honor of women. what's certain is the legend led a gallant life of adventure..i just need a new hat and my bow n arrows then, where do i sign up? a
