I can no longer claim to be a karaoke virgin. After bumping into Joanna of Keep Austin Stylish at an event downtown, we decided to keep the evening going by checking out a band across the street, where A met up with us. It wasn’t long before A and I were convinced/forced to “sing” along side Joanna (who can actually sing), at the best kept secret karaoke place. I won’t mention where that is in case someone in Austin reads this… What we sang doesn’t matter (ehem, Destiny’s Child) but what does matter is that it wasn’t as bad as I thought is was going to be. I may even become a repeat offender. I apologize to anyone that hears my singing. J
